Photosynth:

Photosynth is an amazing tool under development at Microsoft. It basically meshes together 1000′s of pictures to create interactive landscapes.

Surface from Microsoft is a way of interacting with digital information through a desktop surface touch screen (or sorts!). Not only can you interact with the surface using your fingers, but the surface will also detect digital devices like mobile phones, media players and cameras. Check out the video:
